The color red is a loud expression. Without words, the color itself speaks a strong, bold, and passionate language. In this project I tried to capture the dynamic expressions of the color red, and expore the definition it can possibly embodies. is inspired by Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Three Colors films. This project is about figuring out the relationship between colors and emotions, and transforming the feelings into images.

I’m 23 years old, from Taipei, Taiwan. I studied at Tokyo and New York which cultivated my appreciation for art and fashion. I take photos with my 35mm film camera, and I pretty much learn about film photography on my own. As a person with multicultural background, I think my works are influenced by both the Western and Asian aesthetics(especially Japanese!). I’m planning to move to New York or London again where have more vibrant environment for art!
